Stainland Cross Project Update

Following our recent public consultation, we have now produced a draft specification of works and obtained quotations from specialist contractors. Reassuringly, the costs received are broadly in line with the original estimates provided by our architect.

 However, the quotations have confirmed that the project cannot be delivered without securing external grant funding. We have therefore submitted an Expression of Interest to The National Lottery Heritage Fund and are awaiting the outcome.

 If funding is secured, we will return to residents with a further public consultation, sharing the final specification of works and inviting comments before any decisions are made.
